Sustrans oversees our national cycle network. There are now over 16,000 miles of cycle path throughout the UK and a large proportion of these are traffic free. You may have heard of some of the more well known routes such as The Camel trail in Cornwall ,The Tissington trail in the Peaks and the C2C route across England .In addition to these are hundreds of paths connecting towns and villages across Britain and encouraging people to use their cars less.
