Cassette
The Engine of Your Rear Wheel: Range and Cadence Control. The cassette is the cluster of sprockets that determines your gear range and pedalling cadence. Choosing the right one requires technical precision, specifically matching the Number of Speeds (8, 9, 10, 11, or 12), the Gear Range (e.g., 11-28T Road vs. 10-52T MTB), and the critical Freehub Body Compatibility (HG, Micro Spline, or XD/XDR). A worn chain will cause a new cassette to "skip" immediately, which is why we always perform a Chain Wear Check. Our Cytech Level 3 mechanics are specialists in these standards and use precision tools to remove your old cassette and install the new one to the correct torque, guaranteeing smooth, flawless shifting performance.
