Route 4 Wycombe to Chequers loop (23.5 Miles)

Start: Wycombe to Chequers

Roads: Primarily quiet roads but with some busier whilst exiting and entering Wycombe
Difficulty: Hilly - a high Altitude extravaganza with some great climbs - especially Whiteleaf Hill up to 771 ft

Again this is a tremendous Chiltern trek with loads of interest including Hampden House, Chequers, Coombe Hill and Lacey Green Windmill. You will experience a relatively gentle but continual climb to Hampden, then dropping down out of the Chilterns only to climb back again via Whiteleaf Hill - which is amongst the steepest in the Chilterns. If you require refreshment this route is blest with great rural pubs every few miles.
