Saddle Safari at the Races!!

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Well, it finally happened, two Saddle Safari staff members actually put their money where there mouth was and entered an XC Race!

Seasoned Mountain Bikers Mark and Bryn entered the final race event of the season on Wednesday night organised by Summit MTB.

It was a 7:30 start and they had entered the sport category. This turned out to be a tad ambitious as the Sport group comprised of the Worlds finest athletes, and the boys didn’t quite cut the mustard!

Mark achieved a DNF after the 1st lap claiming a bad asthma attack (the truth being too much real ale and pies the night before!)

Bryn went on to finish the one hour race completing 4 laps of the 3 mile course.

Big thanks to Summit MTB for organising the event and we shall be seeing you again next race season!
