Once again courtesy of Alberto Contador and the Astana Team, Trek have produced another Tour de France winning bike. Great news for all concerned and especially Trek who have won 9 titles since 1999.

Proving once again that he is still very much a force to be reckoned with, Lance Armstrong finished 3rd – there is obviously no stopping him! Next year should be another good year, with all the talk about new teams under new management, but we shall just have to wait and see !
Also congratulations to Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish who rode brilliantly, getting the Brits up there on the leader board.

Its time again for the epic bike battle across France -the tour de france.It is set to be an interesting one this year with the Return of the legendary Lance Armstrong .At 37 and with a broken collarbone in April he is very unlikely to threaten the younger riders-but you never know with Lance.His team mates is Alberto Contador(26) and the 2007 winner but there is little love between them so it makes for an interseting atmosphere in the Astana team.

This years tour has a dramatic climax on the penultimate day with the awesome Mt Ventoux testing the riders before the climax on the Champs Elysee on Sunday July 26th.
