Which bike style to choose?

Full Suspension Mountain Bike

A fully suspended mountain bike is great for serious off road riding.  The idea is that both wheels remain on the ground for more traction.  Can be heavier than conventional mountain bikes.

Hard-Tail Mountain Bike

These front suspension mountain bikes enable rider to enjoy off road routes for leisure and sport.  Front suspension smooth out lumps and bumps.

Comfort Bikes

You're looking for a bike easy to ride with an upright riding position and comfy saddle.  Semi smooth but wide tyres soak up the bumps but roll fast on tarmac.  An ideal leisure and pleasure bike.

Hybrid

Larger wheels than mountain and comfort bikes and narrow tyres make them quicker on the road.  Will cope with gentle off road but is used mainly for tarmac.  Ideal commuter bike.

Race Bike

Built for speed. With narrow tyres, high gearing and lightweight components they are designed for performance. 

Not suitable for any off road.

Women's Specific Design

High performance bikes built just for women. Because women are built differently to men, so should their bike accommodate to fit perfectly.

Children's

An array of colours and design but still with high performance and built specially for kids.

Our range of comfort bikes are designed to encourage lapsed or reluctant cyclists and those simply out for the most comfortable ride available. Our bike range starts from a very modest pricing level so your budget needn't be a stumbling block.

When you buy a bike from us you will receive the first service free. All new bikes need to be checked and serviced after they have bedded down.  Pop it back to us within 2 months and we do this free.  Also as a new bike purchaser you receive our book of local bike ride adventures free.

In addition to this you will be given a discount card entitling you to 10% off accessories at the shop for life!

Bicycles purchased from us receive PRIORITY in the workshop, getting them seen sooner and you back on the road quicker.

All work done on your bike and all your purchases are recorded on your account so you have a record of what we done and when.
